NOT EVEN DEATH COULD SEPARATE THEM. BY DANIA MUNOZ.

" A PAIR OF STAR-LOVERS TAKE THEIR LIFE"

They both were born to rich families. This two families did not like each other at all. However there is always the first time for everything. The two people that I am talking about are Romeo and Juliet. Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet. The Capulet and the Montague both lived in Verona Beach. Romeo had just ended a love relationship. His heart was broken. Romeo's cousin invited him to go to a party. This party was at the Capulet house. The Montague boys were not going for a good purpose but just to see if they can mess up the party. At this party was where this two lovers met. This was really love at first sight ! Juliet did not know that the guy she just had kiss was her enemy. Juliet's best friend told her so. Juliet said it had been better if she never had met Romeo. Juliet did not want another girl to get him so she send her best friend to propose marriage. Romeo of course answer yes to this proposal. The bells from the church were sounding but not loud as usual because this was a secret marriage between two enemies that felt in love. After their marriage a tragedy happen that lead Romeo to be banish from Verona Beach. This was not a good thing to happen after your marriage and before your honey moon. Tybalt Capulet killed Mercutio . Mercutio was Romeo's best friend. And Romeo killed Tybalt. That is why Romeo got banish from Verona Beach.

He run away after their honey moon . Juliet's father decided that Juliet was going to get married with Paris. Paris is the prince from Verona Beach. Who would not like their daughter to get married with the prince? The friar that married Romeo and Juliet came up with a plan so that Juliet would escape from Verona Beach. The friar gave Juliet a poison that would make Juliet seem to death but actually sleeping for two days. The friar send a letter to Romeo to inform him about the plan but the letter never reached Romeo. Balthasar Romeo's servant went ahead to tell Romeo about Juliet's death.Romeo came back to Verona and then he found his secret love death. The only thing that was left for him to do was to kill himself so not "EVEN DEATH COULD SEPARATE THEM". When Romeo was killing his self Juliet was waking up. How sad was this! Juliet saw this and decided to kill her self for real. This was the end of this story for many people but for Romeo and Juliet is still alive.

ROMEO MONTAGUE'S PROFILE.

  • A very handsome man.
  • Smart.
  • 16 years old.

  • She was beautiful.
  • She was girly.

STATEMENTS FROM THE CAPULET ABOUT THE TRAGEDY.

The nurse said: " Oh poor of my little child. She did not deserve to die. Is this the price of hate. Thou Montague and Capulet with your hate you havedestroy their live. Is all your fault. Thou should go to jail"

STATEMENTS FROM THE MONTAGUE ABOUT THE TRAGEDY.

Lady Montague said: " How can this had happen to my little boy. Capulet are going to pay for it. Why could not you guys only let them be together"

CONSEQUENCES.

The prince should punish Lady and Lord Montague and Lady and Lord Capulet. They are the guilty ones. They did not let there two kids have there own life and forget about hate. The punishment should be that the two families will love each other to make sure that this will not happen again. The two families should have dinner together forever.

FINAL TASK

" our conviction is that human life and the limb are a very special possession given by God to man and that no one has the right to take that away in any cause however just..."

13. this quote relates to me because this is what I believe too. This is what my parents have taught me.Our life is giving by God to us and that belongs to us and no body else. However there are many people that just don't put this in practice. To many minorities this is the hope that they have to keep on trying. This helped migrant workers to see things in a different way and to understand that they had it rights too.

14. The two values that I value the most are nonviolence and respect for life and environment. I value nonviolence the most because that is how many good people had succeed in life. With patience, perseverance and nonviolent one day I'll be a lawyer. The respect for life and the environment is the other one because if I don't care about my life nobody would either. Now people are trying to solve the global warming problem but before no body did. There is a say that says "you never know what you have until you loose it". And that is true.

ARTICLE #1

A.EXPLAIN GEORGE'S PERSPECTIVE FOR WHAT HE DID TO LENNIE.

GEORGE'S PERSPECTIVE FOR WHAT HE DID TO LENNIE WAS THE BEST.I THINK GEORGE THOUGHT ABOUT HOW MUCH LENNIE WOULD SUFFER IF HE HAD STOOD ALIVE.MAYBE CURLEY WOULD HAD TORTURED LENNIE.IT IS SAD TO LOOSE SOMEBODY THAT YOU LOVE.IT WAS A GOOD CHOICE SO LENNIE WOULDN'T SUFFER AND GEORGE WOULDN'T SEE LENNIE BEEN TORTURED BY CURLEY.

B.DO YOU THINK THAT WAS THE BEST THING TI DO FOR LENNIE?

I GUESS FOR LENNIE'S GOOD IT WAS THE BEST.LENNIE COULD HAVE CONTINUED KILLING PEOPLE . IT IS SAD OF COURSE, BUT THERE ARE SOME THINGS IN LIFE THAT ARE SAD. LENNIE WOULD HAVE DIED IN PEACE AND THEN HE WOULDN'T HAVE TO SUFFER THE TORTURED FROM CURLEY. AND I DON'T THINK LENNIE WOULD LIKE TO BE IN A SPECIAL INSTITUTION.

ARTICLE #2

A.WHAT DID THE FATHER DO?EXPLAIN THE FATHER'S REASONS FOR WHAT HE DID.

THE FATHER CHOOSE TO END HIS DAUGHTER'S LIFE. I THINK THE MAIN REASON WHY HE DECIDED TO END HIS DAUGHTER'S LIFE WAS BECAUSE HE LOST HIS HOPE. SHE WAS IN A VEGETATIVE STATE FOR 17 YEARS . I THINK HE WOULD SUFFER MORE KNOWING THAT HIS DAUGHTER WAS SLEEP THAN KNOWING THAT SHE HAD DIE.

B. DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH THE FATHER'S ACTIONS ?EXPLAIN.

IN THIS CASE I DO AGREE WITH EUTHANASIA BECAUSE ELUANA MIGHT NEVER COME BACK TO LIFE. HER FATHER WAITED A LOT AND NOTHING HAPPENED. MAYBE SHE WASN'T SUFFERING BUT HE WAS SUFFERING BECAUSE HE WAS SEEING HOW HIS DAUGHTER WAS.

ARTICLE #3

A. WHAT WAS MR.LUPOE NEGATIVE OR PARANOID ABOUT?

MR. LOPOE WAS PARANOID BECAUSE HE LOST HIS AND HE WOULDN'T HAVE MONEY. THE THINGS THAT WERE GOING THROUGH HIS MIND MIGHT HAVE BEEN HOW WOULD HE PAY THE RENT?.HOW WOULD HE GET FOOD FOR HIS FAMILY AND THE ONLY SOLUTION HE FOUND WAS TO KILL HIM AND HIS FAMILY.

B.THE BEST WAY TO SHOW SUPPORT TO YOUR CHILDREN WITHOUT MONEY.

THE BEST WAY TO SUPPORT IS TO GIVE LOVE ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. ANOTHER WAY CAN BE TALKING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AT SCHOOL. AND TO ALWAYS BE THERE WHEN WE NEED THEM.
ARTICLE #4
AFTER REVIEWING OF MICE AND MEN AND THE TWO ARTICLES , WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON EUTHANASIA?LIST EXCEPTIONS.
MY PERSONAL VIEW OF EUTHANASIA BY WHAT I BELIEVE IS THAT EUTHANASIA IS WRONG. THERE ARE SOME EXCEPTIONS TO IT, LIKE IN "OF MICE AND MEN". LENNIE WOULD HAD TO SUFFER MORE IF HE HAD STOOD ALIVE. AND THE ARTICLE FROM ITALY IS OKAY BECAUSE YOU DON NOT KNOW IF THIS PERSON IS GOING TO COME BACK TO LIFE. THE ARTICLE THAT I DON NOT AGREE IS THE ONE WITH MR.LUPOE HE DIDN'T ANY RIGHT TO KILL HIS FAMILY.EVEN THOUGH HIS CHILDREN WOULDN'T BE THE SAME BUT THEY DIDN'T DESERVED TO DIE.

1.I don't think it was ok for George to encourage Lennie to fight because George knows that Lennie is like a child. The other solution could it be to stop Curley. And the other solution can be to get Lennie away from the fight and talk to Curley to stop bugging Lennie.
2.For sure Lennie shouldn't be working because we know how is .Even though he is strong his mind is not mature enough to handle trouble.I don't think Lennie should be in a special institution maybe he would just stay home because away from society wouldn't help him develop his mind.
3.I don't think violence brings anything good but instead it brings hate, people fear of you and they don't like you. What Curley should is just treat them the way they deserve to.If they do bad things well they should get what they deserve. And he would still have the respect from the workers.
4.I don't think Curley's should be flirting with Slim or any guy. I said so because when she got married she promise to love only Curley and now she flirting with many other guys. I guess she can have "friends" from the workers but that is it.
